We're pleased to announce our next regular event, taking place on Wednesday 20th July, at our regular venue in the Freemasons' Hall (close to Holborn, Covent Garden, Tottenham Court Road and Temple stations). For July only, the route into Lodge Room 1 will be slightly different, so look out for signs on your way into the building. The theme for this month is entrepreneurship and starting up, and confirmed speakers are Jakub Nesetril,co-founder of API services company apiary.io, with his start-up accelerator survival guide, Sam Clark, head of apps agency Conjure, covering lessons learnt from building branded apps, and John Haggis from Sheridan Solicitors telling us how lawyers can help set up your company and ensure your app is legal. Simon Cross, a plaform partner engineer at Facebook, will also tell us about cross-platform authentication.
Accel Partners, the venture capital firm behind companies like Facebook, MindCandy, Rovio and Kayak, will be hosting Office Hours at this month's event. Office Hours gives entrepreneurs/developers/technology evangelists the chance to ask Accel personnel relevant questions, ranging from getting feedback on an idea to general business/market advice.
